“The apostles returned to Jesus and told him all that they had done and taught. And he said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while.” For many were coming and going, and they had no leisure even to eat. And they went away in the boat to a desolate place by themselves.” ~ Mark 6:30-32
May we find you this weekend as we escape into rest.
Meet us with your presence and comfort.
Give us ears to hear from you and hearts that are willing to accept your words.
May truth, love, and encouragement be spoken.
Do not leave us unchanged, as we meet with you in quiet places.
Bring revival to the dry places in our bones and hope to the heartsick places in our souls.
May there be much laughter, tears if necessary, and friendships deepened.
May there be peace, joy, and an increase of freeing faith.
Thank you for the gift of beauty, rest, and retreat.
In Jesus name,
